Holidays are getting closer
posted in Blogging |It is mid-September and that only means that the holidays are fast approaching. I can hardly wait for Thanksgiving to when we gather around the dinner table with friends and family and give thanks for what we have. We will get out the fine china, our linen tablecloth, and our silverware we only use twice a year. Of course we will have the kids table with slightly less decor and more disposable items. It never fails that gravy or cranberry sauce will end on the table, but then again that is what you remember most. The time when Aunt Janet came over with her new recipe for sweet potatoes and they were not very good, but you ate them anyway because it was Aunt Janet. So Happy Holidays to everyone and remember to give thanks for those things that we have.
