We just recently went on a long Christmas holiday and asked or neighbors to watch over our pets. It is nice if you have friends or family to turn to watch your pets, but if they are not pet owners that could pose a problem. we found you need to provide great detail to those who you ask to care for your pets in order to create your expectations before you leave on your trip. So if you are going on a trip, or you’d like your dog to have a walk and human attention when you’re at work, a pet sitter is typically a safer choice for individualized attention. You may also consider boarding kennels as another safe option, but should always research and get references if you can before leaving your pet. Many will have items that your pets are accustomed too like a cat tree for those feline pet owners who know that their pets will feel right at home and not miss their owners as much if they have some of the comforts of home.
