I’m not sure who made it trendy to light up on the golf courses. In recent news, we saw NBA star Michael Jordan get a fine for smoking his cigar on a golf course where public smoking was prohibited. I’m sure Mr. Jordan didn’t have any problems paying a smoking fine, but why are golfers smoking their cigars on the greens? I’m not sure if smoking a cigar causes a golfer to relax or if it improves their game in some way. You don’t see many people ever smoking a cigar and it is interesting to see it so much on the golf courses. With brands like Padron cigars golfers can still enjoy a tradition of being out on the course while enjoying one of their favorite past times.
