We recently had some good friends have their first child and they are now in the third week and wondering when the sleep will come. We joked with them that their lives would never be the same and that there would be no more dining out when they felt like it. My wife threw a baby shower for the couple a few weeks prior to the baby coming. They got all the basics like the crib, baby furniture, diapers, clothes and some toys.Today’s baby cribs come in a huge variety of sizes and styles. I remember picking out one for out daughter it was pretty simple and functional. This couple wanted one that had a Victorian feel to match the rest of their decor in the baby’s room.
My wife was actually able to throw them a great shower and was able to find just right supplies when hosting the shower. Everything from the napkins to the streamers matched and the newly expecting mother was quite amazed at all the work. You can basically throw your own themed baby shower. Baby shower party supplies could be a huge business in our neighborhood as we have 5 expecting mothers just in the next two months.
