I moved recently and was lucky to find clear.com. I signed up for their wireless internet service and was able to get back online in no time. Good thing I was able to get the connection up quickly because I was really starting to rack up a bill on my cell phone. I knew that the financial results of that would not be pretty at the end of the month. I was trying to curtail my use because I knew I didn’t have any wireless service, but it was so difficult! I have gotten out of the habit of watching TV news, so there was that issue. I have to know what’s going on in the world so that meant checking a few websites every day. Then there was the matter of checking my bank account balances, and paying all of my bills online. There is no way any of us could get out of doing that. I don’t even think I know how to pay my bills by check anymore. I definitely had to read and respond to most of my emails too. The whole experience left me wondering what in the world people did before the internet.

We have been cleaning out our basement and I have several business books that I don’t intend to read anymore and was wondering what I could do with them. I could sell them at a garage sale and get a few dollars or donate them to a local library but not sure they would be wanted. I did just happen to come across a site online where you can sell books and make some easy money. All you need to do is enter the ISBN number and you will know how much your book is worth. This is great for college kids looking to get rid of their books before summer break.
