If you are moving any type of heavier furniture or appliances I would highly recommend renting or investing in one of several industrial hand wheels that are available on the market today. The reason I say this is that they will provide more stability and they usually come with wider wheels which are much easier on your floors. I know this because we moved a refrigerator with a smaller hand truck and the small wheels left tiny indents in our hardwood because they were unable to distribute the weight evenly. With a more robust hand truck there were no noticeable indents in the floor and it was much easier to move around.
