Designing your home theater
posted in Technology |We are in the process of working with a contractor to finish our basement and one of the features that I want to have is an entertainment room. This would be where we would house a LCD TV along with some hi-fi stereo equipment that would provide full surround sound. The contractor has some great ideas about how to have the TV come out of the wall and using audio racks to help keep all the electronic components in one location that would be out of site of the main room. The whole thing would be wired so that there would only be one remote that would control everything. On paper this looks awesome and should come in right at our budget so this Fall we will be enjoying a theater like experience.
