Who sponsored that closed caption
posted in Technology |The Super Bowl showed us that the under dog can win and that the sponsorship for ads are everywhere. This year I noticed for the first time that the closed captioning had been sponsored by Pepsi. When you think about this was a great placement because not only does it benefit Pepsi and help those with hearing impairments enjoy the game, but all those TV sets that are muted during various points in the game will show the ads across the bottom of their screen. Of course I am guessing that the Patriots could have cared less if the closed captioning was working since the game was almost too painful to watch.
